1. Who I am
These terms apply to all services provided by Kitty Heusschen, based at Rietvoorn 13, 7008 BV Doetinchem, the Netherlands. Registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 52125718. VAT number: NL001867038B41. Contact: info@kittyheusschen.com.
2. When these terms apply
From the moment an engagement is confirmed or a trajectory is entered into. Any deviating arrangements apply only when set out in writing by both parties.
3. What I do
My work includes:
Speaking engagements: Keynotes, masterclasses, panel discussions, interviews and podcasts. For organisations, events and media. Dutch and English, worldwide.
Voicenote trajectory: A trajectory of 3 or 6 months. At the start, client and I agree together on the frequency of voicenotes. It is up to the client when and how often a voicenote is sent within that frame. I respond within one week of receipt.
The Collection: Webshop with online masterclasses and products. Once purchased, non-returnable.
4. What I offer and where the line is
- My work is a best-effort commitment, not a guarantee of results. I bring everything I have to our collaboration, with the knowledge and experience built up over more than 30 years. What comes out remains yours — your insights, your decisions, your steps.
- My work does not replace medical or psychological care. If symptoms in that area surface, I refer to qualified healthcare professionals.
- The client or commissioning party remains 100% responsible for their own choices, actions and outcomes. This is not a legal escape hatch. This is the foundation of my work: you always have a choice.
5. Booking and payment
- Speaking engagements: Once date, location and format are aligned, a quote is provided. Upon agreement, a 50% deposit is invoiced. This deposit is non-refundable and confirms the booking. The balance is settled no later than 30 days before the event date.
- Travel and accommodation costs: Travel and accommodation are arranged by Kitty directly and passed on in full to the commissioning party. By mutual arrangement, the commissioning party may facilitate travel and accommodation directly. In all cases, these costs are payable and non-refundable.
- Voicenote trajectory: Settled in full before the start of the trajectory. By mutual arrangement, payment may be made in two instalments: 50% settled before the start, 50% settled within one month of the start. The full amount remains due, regardless of whether the client makes use of the agreed number of voicenotes within the trajectory.
- The Collection: One-time purchase via the website, settled in full at the moment of purchase. Purchases are final — once acquired, non-returnable. By purchasing digital content (such as online masterclasses) and gaining immediate access, the buyer waives the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital products (Article 6:230o paragraph 1 sub c of the Dutch Civil Code).
- Payment term: 30 days from invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In case of late payment, statutory commercial interest and any collection costs will be charged.
6. Cancellation by the commissioning party or client
By cancellation of the client or commissioning party, the following rules apply:
Speaking engagements:
The 50% deposit remains payable at all times. It is not refunded under any circumstances.
Cancellation 30 to 60 days before the event: 75% of the total agreed amount is payable.
Cancellation within 30 days of the event: 100% of the total agreed amount is payable. No refund is possible — preparation has begun by that point.
Travel and accommodation costs are charged in full in all cases.
Voicenote trajectory:
Not cancellable mid-term. In case of early termination, the full agreed amount remains payable, regardless of the number of voicenotes used.
Exception for force majeure: In case of force majeure (illness, personal circumstances), a pause may be arranged by mutual agreement. The term shifts accordingly.
The Collection:
Purchases are final. No refunds or returns possible after acquisition.
7. Cancellation by Kitty
If for reasons of force majeure — illness, personal crisis — I am unable to deliver, I will seek a replacement date by mutual agreement. If that is not possible, the amount already paid will be refunded pro rata.
8. Intellectual property
All content I create, share or publish — on my website, in voicenotes, recordings, presentations, masterclasses, materials, frameworks, exercises, constellation work materials, social media, podcasts and other channels — remains my exclusive intellectual property. This includes my voice in recordings and the specific formulations, frameworks and methodologies I use.
The client or commissioning party has a personal right of use. This means: use for personal development, or internally within the commissioning organisation. No permission is granted for:
Copying or duplicating beyond personal use.
Reselling, sharing with third parties, or publishing.
Recording, transcribing or forwarding voicenotes or live sessions.
Use of my materials, frameworks or formulations in your own commercial work.
Reuse of my voice or recordings for AI models, voice cloning, transcription, or other forms of reproduction.
Reuse of my website content, social media content or other publications.
In case of violation, I reserve the right to take legal action, including the claiming of damages.
9. Confidentiality
- What is spoken or shared between us remains between us. I do not share identifying information about clients with third parties without written consent.
- When I refer to my work — for stage, podcast, website or publications — this is always anonymised and only after explicit agreement.
10. Privacy and data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The client or commissioning party has the right at any time to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Requests can be sent to info@kittyheusschen.com and will be addressed within 30 days.
11. Liability
My liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the relevant engagement, or where applicable, to the amount covered by my professional liability insurance.
I am not liable for indirect damages, consequential losses, or damages arising from decisions or actions taken by the client or commissioning party based on our work together.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint or something is bothering you, please contact me directly first via info@kittyheusschen.com. I respond within 7 working days. My intention is always to come into conversation first before it goes elsewhere.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Gelderland, the Netherlands.
14. Changes
These terms may be updated. The most recent version is always available at www.kittyheusschen.com. For ongoing trajectories, the version in effect at the start of the agreement applies.
