FAQ
What does Kitty speak about?
Not about topics.
Kitty speaks about the cost of waiting. About what it drains from your emotional account to keep stalling, while you already feel what you have to do. About the gap between a mind still negotiating and a body that already knows.
Her two signature talks say it without detour: You bankrupted yourself waiting. Stop telling the story. You are addicted to your past.
But it doesn’t stop at the cost. It’s about how you get out. From desire, not from pain. About choosing what you already feel, and then doing it. Even when it doesn’t feel that way yet.
No “fixing,” healing, or endless processing. Thirty years of experience and training brought together into one simple way of working.
No jargon. No models. Something you can continue on your own afterwards.
Whether she’s in front of entrepreneurs, a team, or a single person, this is for the one who feels that nagging irritation at night. Who knows it’s time to move, because the whole body is saying NOW. Title doesn’t decide it. Readiness does.
On stage: humor, the willingness to laugh at herself, and before you know it, a mirror. Everyone walks out the door. And keeps thinking about it in the car.
You always have a choice.
Is Kitty a coach or a motivational speaker?
Neither.
A coach holds on. Kitty lets go. Her work is done well when you can do it yourself. No endless programs, no dependency. She’s built on graduation, not retention.
A motivational speaker gives you a high that’s gone by Monday. Kitty gives you a mirror you can’t put down. She doesn’t motivate you. She shows you what you already know, and makes not choosing impossible to ignore.
Kitty is a speaker and executive mentor. She reads what’s under the table and names it. Direct, respectful, edges intact.
No applause without consequence. From feeling to doing.
Who is this for?
For the person who feels something has to be chosen, and knows that waiting has started to cost them.
Maybe you lead a company. Maybe a team. Maybe you simply know it’s time to lead yourself. On the outside, everything’s in order. Inside, you know: not like this, not anymore.
It’s not about your title. It’s about whether you’re ready.
And honestly, this isn’t for everyone.
Not for the one who wants to keep telling their story. Not for the one who sees themselves as a victim. Not for the one waiting for the perfect moment. Not for the one looking for a soft nudge and a good feeling that won’t last.
It’s for the one who already knows, and is finally ready to move. Or feels that it has to be NOW.
Does Kitty speak internationally?
Yes. Speaking internationally isn’t an extension of her work. It is her work.
From Europe, worldwide. Live on stage or online. In Dutch and in English.
And last minute? Not an exception. It’s built into how she works. Being called the moment it suddenly matters.
Can a talk be tailored to the event?
Always. Every keynote and masterclass is built for the room it’s walking into. There’s no standard talk.
It starts with a conversation. Not about what should be on the agenda. About what’s really going on. The playing field, the industry, the team. What’s said out loud, and what isn’t. And what should be different once the talk is over.
Because that’s where the talk lives: in what hasn’t been said yet. Kitty reads what’s under the table and builds around it. So no one leaves thinking, that wasn’t about me.
How long are her sessions?
That depends on what the room needs.
30 minutes is the minimum. Short, sharp, the length of a TED Talk. Enough for one thing that stays with you.
45 to 60 minutes is ideal. From 45 minutes on, there’s room for a short exercise. The moment feeling turns into doing.
Want more? Then it becomes a masterclass: talk plus workshop, in a room or at executive level with a team.
We’ll decide what fits your event together.
What are the fees?
On request. No standard fee, for the same reason there’s no standard talk: every event is built from the ground up. The fee follows the work. The event, the location, the audience, the degree of tailoring.
A message through the form or an email to kitty@kittyheusschen.com is enough. You’ll get a personal proposal in return.
How does the booking process work?
One. The request, through the form or by email.
Two. A personal reply. Kitty responds herself, within three business days. If it’s a fit, a short conversation follows.
Three. A tailored proposal for the event.
No middleman. From the first message, you’re dealing with Kitty herself.
What is the impact for the audience?
People leave the room different from the way they came in.
Not with a quick hit of energy. Not with a list of tips that vanishes into a drawer back home. But with the uncomfortable clarity of what they already know. And of what it costs them to keep waiting.
No applause without consequence.
And when a short exercise is part of it, it doesn’t stop at insight. Someone takes the step right there in the room. Feeling becomes doing. Not tomorrow, now.
That’s the change that lasts.
How far in advance should you book?
Six to twelve weeks is ideal. Enough time to build the talk properly around your room.
Shorter works too. For requests within three weeks, there’s a separate fast track. Booking last minute doesn’t mean a last minute talk.
What can people do after hearing Kitty speak?
That depends on what’s been set in motion.
Want her on your own stage? Speaking, keynotes for organizations, events, and teams. Or go deeper: a masterclass or workshop, on its own or as a deeper session after a talk.
Want the conversation? Dialogue, interviews, podcasts, and panels.
Ready to take it further, on your own terms? UNBOUND. The door. You choose. Behind that door, two ways forward. The voicenote mentoring, Kitty’s personal work through voice notes and presence, by application only, limited in number. And The Collection, online masterclasses and tools, at your own pace.
With Kitty, or on your own. The choice is yours.
